you have a beautiful home ! I love the red wall. Red is my all time favorite color
You have a very nice home. I love the red wall, so many people are afraid to take the chance with colors. It says a lot about you.P~
So nice to finally see pictures from you! I must tell you that your fireplace looks very familiar! We even have the same tile. What model do you have? We have the Lafayette.I have a funny story to tell you. I was in the Cottage Corner yesterday and I got to talking with the owner and the store has just started a blog which lead to me telling her about my blog and you finding me and telling me about her store which is why I had discovered her. She was amazed and said to tell you thank you very much!
Love that fireplace and the red wall! Very pretty and inviting. BTW I saw below that Jewels is your inspiration for the journals - I love her site too!ManuelaP.S. I posted today about my veggie garden.
I enjoyed "visiting" your home. Love the colors and the way you have decorated!
I too love the red wall! The rooster picture looks great too, just got a glimps though. Thanks for sharing your home.Heather
It's fun to see the pictures! I like your milk glass plates over the door; I collect milk glass myself! And WOW! That is a bold, red wall; very pretty. I also really like the little shutter in the larger window.Your journal is coming along nicely. So great that your children can join in in their own way. I need to get mine out again. I've neglected it for a couple of weeks as I've been just knitting up a storm! I find I just can't do everything I want to do at once, so things do end up getting neglected from time to time, but I do mangage to find my way back to them.
You have a lovely home. It's a real credit to you. I too love the red wall. : )
Marianna,I haven't spent much time in South Haven...we stopped there once on a little trip up that side of MI. I have been to Saugatuck; it is close by and worth the 30 min drive - a very cute little town. We have also spent a bit of time in Holland, which is not too much farther north. At this time of year, you might be able to pick blueberries and people in MI really seem to like their ice cream in the summer. We have lived in MI for 5 years now and, for whatever reason, we tend to go north when we travel in MI or we just head to Chicago. Not much info - sorry. Hope you have a great time. Heather
