Too hot to do much

It has been so hot and humid that I don't want to do much of anything! Anyone else feeling drained by the heat? We are going to a neighbors house for dinner tonight. I made a ratatouille using up all of my farmer's market vegetables. Lots of onion, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, garlic and eggplant. YUM!

I thought I would add some more house pics today, and one of my kitty, Laika. No, that isn't her basket. I had emptied it of it's contents and she took it over!

What a lovely bright kitchen you have and I always love red in a dining room! That's funny that your kitty took over that basket! Yes, it's been so hot here that I really have to force myself to do anything. I was out yesterday in this heat planting some things (crazy I know) and I was just wiped out by 2pm! I eagerly look forward to fall that's for sure!

I'm so with you on the heat. I just want to stay inside and chill but there is so much to do to get ready for school that I'm being forced to go out in this dreadful heat.

My cats are the same way with empty baskets. Every time I turn my back they claim another one.

Such a pretty and bright kitchen you have!

We are hot, hot, hot here too and I feel a bit like a slug. :) I just feel like I move so slowly out there!

Actually, it's mostly indoors that we stay right now. I liken it to the MN winters we used to endure. Now, it's just FL summers.

So, we're getting a lot accomplished inside these days. That means lots of happy time spent knitting for me!

Our three kitties love baskets too - even with things in them. Their favorites, though, seem to be empty, cardboard boxes with the flaps down that they can then open and sneak inside. Maybe they want to be mailed somewhere fun... or cool! :)

Are your back? Did you go? Did you find any blueberries?

Thanks for coming to visit me! I love your red walls...gorgeous! The kitty is rather sweet too! Mine is sleeping on a afghan at the moment as I type. Here in Oregon it has actually cooled down some. cherry
