Walking

I walk to wash the dead air
from the branches of my lungs.

I walk to let some actual oxygen
carbonate the blood in my veins.

I walk to let my toes and soles
know the yielding feel of earth.

I walk to rinse all these words
from my head.

Marianna,

Thank you for visiting and your kind words about 'hurting people...." post.

We all react differently to our pain.
I hope it has helped you and given you hope in this time of hurt, and may have given you some understanding how they are dealing with their hurt right now too.

I know in the end, if we continue to love, it will be received, and used, to help us all grow.

Blessings,
Barbara Jean
