Come Spring

I know spring officially started Saturday. On Saturday here in Texas it was about 34 degrees. Then on Sunday it actually snowed nearly 6"! So in honor of the first actual spring-like day I offer this poem.

Come Spring

Come spring,
honey butter sun
spreads,
its bread
the emerald buds
of new bloom.

Sprays of bouquets
flinging a maze
of ruffles and lace,
blazing,
a baby's breath
like candy tuft
in the sun,
come spring.

This is so beautiful. I write it out and put it in our basket of inspirational reading for the dinner table. Thank you for sharing
